# Privacy and cookies

> **In short:** We use your name, email, phone and booking details to run your booking and answer your questions. Payments go through Stripe and emails through Mailgun in the EU. Analytics and advertising cookies are set only if you accept them. You can ask to see, correct or delete your data at any time.

## What we collect and why

We send at most two emails per booking: your e-ticket and, possibly, one request for a review. We don't sell your data and we don't add you to a mailing list.

## Who processes it for us

- **Stripe** (payments), which receives your card and billing details directly.
- **Mailgun** (transactional email), on its EU servers.
- **Cloudflare** (hosting, security and form handling).
- Our own booking system, where the crew sees each booking to plan the evening.
- With your consent only: **Google** (Analytics and Ads measurement), **Meta** (advertising measurement), and session-replay tools such as **Microsoft Clarity** or **Hotjar** if we turn them on.
- **Ahrefs Web Analytics** counts visits without cookies and without identifying you.

Some of these companies may process data outside the EU. Where they do, they rely on the EU's standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.

<h2 id="cookies">Cookies</h2>

Analytics and advertising cookies are set **only if you accept them** in the cookie banner. If you decline, or if no banner appears, no such cookies are used.

Two small things are always stored in your browser because the site needs them: your cookie choice, and whether you have closed the sunset-calendar pop-up. Only if you accept cookies do we also remember the campaign or advert that brought you here (campaign tags for 30 days, ad click IDs for 90 days), so we can tell which adverts lead to bookings. You can change your choice at any time with the "Cookie settings" link in the footer, or by clearing this site's data in your browser.

## How long we keep it

Booking records are kept for as long as Croatian tax and accounting law requires. Messages and requests that did not lead to a booking are deleted within two years. Sunset-calendar addresses are used once and not kept for marketing.

## Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, delete, restrict or move your data, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest, including the review request. Write to info@sunsetdubrovnik.com. If you are unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the Croatian data protection authority, [AZOP](https://azop.hr/), or the authority in your own country.
